Vieques island

Known to the Taino indians as Bieke, and to the Spaniards as Isla Nena, this is the little sister island off the east coast of Puerto Rico.  About two thirds of the island is a National Reserve, a preserve of paradise.

With dozens of undeveloped, virgin beaches, Vieques is a major vacation destination for Puerto Ricans, Americans, and international travelers.  Whether you are newlyweds, backpackers, or just on an adventure with family or friends, Vieques is sure to provide an unforgettable vacation that will have you coming back for more.
